The Bakersfield Chess Club meets on Thursdays at the Golden State Mall, 3201 "F" Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301, for tournament play. Club membership is $35/yr adults & $25/yr scholastics. In addition to weekly club matches, each year the club holds four major tournaments: Kern County Open Championship (State Qualifier), Bakersfield Class Act, Bakersfield Fall Classic, and Bakersfield Open.
